Here at Cheale Meats we loved barbecued meats and one of our favourites is a sticky, delicious rack of BBQ pork ribs. There are so many ways of cooking ribs and this is just one way of getting that delicious flavour.
You will need:
2 racks of ribs – either baby back or loin will work well
For the dry rub:
1/2 cup of dark demerera sugar
1tsp x garlic powder
1tbsp x smoked paprika
salt and pepper
1tbsp x mustard powder
crushed chillis to taste (we like 1tsp)
*Your favourite BBQ sauce*
Mix all the dry ingredients together and coat the ribs, ensuring it is well rubbed in. Refrigerate for about 3 hours if possible to enhance the flavour.
Cook in a 200c oven for around 1 hour, take out and then brush with your favourite BBQ sauce. Return to the oven until cooked fully, with the edges starting to crisp.
Serve with your favourite sides – some ours include corn on the cob, salad, chips and sweet potato!
